The vine is part of the Vitis family
and can live for many years (an average of 30 to 50 years under
normal growing conditions).
The vine is a type of liana that normally grows along the ground
if it has no support system but, because of its tendrils, it can
grab on to a support (tree, wall, fence or wire netting) and grow
upwards.
Grape variety: After two years of research, we chose the Seyval,
a French white variety from the Champagne area. It was selected for
its resistance to cold, its rusticity which enables ecological farming,
its short growing period, and its organoleptic properties (taste).
We grow 60,000 plants on 35 acres.
